Early one beautiful morning, a day or two after a good snow, we ventured out to explore our territory. About 40 feet from our side door, here is what we saw: Adventure #4: NICE Kitty!
The park ranger says we do have mountain lions in this area (in addition to coyotes, bears, great horned owls, and the occasional cougar).
We like kitties. Really we do. But maybe we won't be tromping around at night or in the early morning without the dogs. And it's probably a good thing the dogs (and this kitty's smaller cousins) sleep indoors.
